Kurt was amazing! We got married at The Silcox Hut at 7,000 ft in a blizzard (the weather was unplanned) and you had to snowcat up to our venue. Kurt listened to what I wanted, understood I needed the music and DJ set up to be minimal to complement the venue instead of detract and then delivered. His online portal allowed my now-husband and I to choose from endless amounts of songs, there were maybe 4 on there that he didn't have and when I requested them on my "other songs" section he just emailed back and said "perfect this is taken care of!" No questions asked, no issues, no headaches. Brides and grooms if you're looking for a no hassle DJ who will deliver beyond your expectations, engage with your guests and just be a fun person to have around he's your guy. Which other bride gets to say they have a picture of their father staring out at the blizzard chatting about snow with the DJ? Kurt thank you so much from Nic and I for such an amazing job. Thank you for humoring the incredibly lively renditions of Disney songs on the snowcat ride down and for bringing everyone's vision to life throughout the evening. You were an incredible partner and everyone raved about you, your services, your music. There wasn't a minute people were laughing or dancing along to some of the greats, the oldies, the hits, and everything you chose to play just kept the night going incredibly smoothly. Kurt Hunter was the perfect DJ and MC for our wedding day.
Kurt is organized, easy to work with, and polite! I highly recommend him for any wedding or specialevent. He made planning my wedding day music fun and easy, and the dance floor was packed all night!
He has a wide variety of music but provides tools to help you plan and not get overwhelmed. He was flexible with timing and set up, and understands the right flow for a reception.
Nothing could have been better, Kurt was a huge part of why my wedding was a huge success and a ton of fun! Thank you!!

Kurt did great at our wedding! Everything went smooth & as planned. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We do apologize for our dog eating your food haha & it was nice that we got to meet with him twice prior to our event. :)

Kurt was such an outstanding DJ. He really made out wedding reception shine with the perfect music choices from our dinner all the way through to the end of the evening.We marveled at his excellent DJness keeping all of our toasts, cake cutting, First Dance, Father Daughter dance, Mother Son Dance, garter toss perfectly timed throughout the evening. He was the perfect choice for us. Thanks so much Kurt! I'll be sending you some fabulous photos :)

Kurt Hunter was great to work with. He showed up when he said he would and started playing music right on time. He was the DJ for our school dance and he played good Dance-able music the whole time. I would definitely recommend him.

Kurt was very prompt and professional. He arrived earlier then expected and directed himself with minimal guidance. His array of music was appropriate for the 16 year old audience. He took requests and played a girls mp3 player or ipod per her request. I was very impressed. I fully recommend him.

Kurt did a wonderful job at my daughter's wedding. The music list was phenomenal. He was asked to play music from the 50's and 60's, and came up with the most beautiful music for that era. He was friendly and professional. I would recommend him for any type of event.

Our wedding was chaotic at best(1.5 months to plan)!! Kurt took it all in stride and flowed with the chaos like a true pro!! We had the songs requested and some additional ones the night of that were requested by our daughters. Kurt was fun, professional and really kept in tune with the eclectic mix of people that were there. I work in property management and will hopefully be able to use him for our summer resident events too! Thanks Kurt for making our day complete!!

Reviewed on 6/29/2010 jessica v- On The KnotKurt was such a professional and he had great advice. As the bride, I planned the whole wedding myself. Some of the best advice I received was from my DJ! The Music - Kurt gave us an online form to fill out so that he could play just the music we wanted, while avoiding the stuff we didn't like. The groom and I were thrilled with the music and the dancing went late since everyone was having so much fun. A couple people actually mentioned how much they liked the tunes in our guest book! The Wedding - Kurt has DJed a lot of weddings, so he had great advice about how to keep things flowing naturally, avoid awkwardness, and keep all the guests happy. I was grateful for the advice, especially since he turned out to be right about everything. He is also charming on the microphone and did some directing so the guests would know what to do and when. Several guests told us that it was the funnest wedding they'd ever been to, and Big Adventure Entertainment was a big part of the reason! A+
